​​​Throughout 2014-2016, St Augustine’s has been working towards the implementation, and then the validation, of our school’s Religious Education Program.

 

I am pleased to announce that St Augustine’s School has a validated Religious Education program.

The foundation for validation is our world-class Religious Education Curriculum. At its core are high expectations of our learners in religious literacy. Our vision to: educate and form students who are challenged to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and who are literate in the Catholic and broader Christian tradition so that they might participate critically and authentically in faith contexts and wider society is being realised.

That said, validation is not the finish line. Every day we will continue to make excellent decisions about our learners’ needs, our contexts and our resources to ensure that RE is delivered in a way that is meaningful and contemporary. We look forward to the continuing journey.
